Mary Louise Lansdale

Mary Louise Lansdale, 87, of Brownsboro passed away on December 14, 2024 in Tyler.
Mary was born July 29, 1937 in Sardis, Mississippi. She was happily married to the love of her life, John, for 70 years. Mary worked as a nurse at Trinity Mother Frances in Tyler for many years before becoming a school nurse for Brownsboro ISD until her retirement. When school would let out for the summer, Mary would keep all of her grandchildren every day. The memories that her nine grandchildren have from those summers will be cherished and remembered forever. In her free time, Mary loved spending time with her family. She loved being outside and enjoyed shopping for all of her great grandchildren. Mary will be remembered for her kind heart and gentle spirit. She was an exceptional mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and wife. She put her family before everything. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Mary is proceeded in death by her loving husband John Lansdale.
She is survived by her son Randy Lansdale and wife Joyce of Leesville, Louisiana, daughters Jackie Daily and husband Rick of Brownsboro, Pamela Dunklin and husband Scott of Tyler, Meleaha Morton and husband Craig of Flint, grandchildren Justin Lansdale and wife Leigh, Josh Lansdale and wife Nikki, Jimmi Byrd, Jammi Medley and husband Jeremy, Ricky Daily and wife Amy, Ashlee Hazelbaker and husband Mark, Mason Martin, Malloree Thornton and husband John, and Drew Dunklin and wife Leah, and 18 great grandchildren, brother-in law Joe Lansdale, niece Kasey Lansdale and husband Jonathan Levit and nephew Keith Lansdale.
A private memorial for immediate family will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the SPCA of Tyler in Mary's honor.
