Mary Latimer

Mary Latimer, 69, of Galesburg, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Allure of Lake Storey. She was born on October 15, 1955 in Galesburg, Illinois to Joseph and Catherine (Wolf) Haneghan. Mary graduated from Galesburg Highschool in 1974 and went on to further her education at Illinois Central College, and Mid State University. After college, she went on to work at OSF St. Francis in the laundry department for a number of years. Mary is survived by her son, Shane Latimer of Bartonville, three grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several siblings. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Jim Haneghan. A celebration of life will be held at Lake Storey at a later date. Memorials may be made to Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Homes and Crematory.
