Mary Frances Lea, 87, of Macon, MO, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the Macon Health Care Center in Macon.

Mary was born on October 23, 1938, in Brookfield, MO, the daughter of Emmett and Ester (Krouse) Farris. Mary was united in marriage to Wesley Dean Lea on October 5, 1958, in Brookfield, MO. Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church of Macon and enjoyed gardening, sewing, her rock garden, and especially spending time with family and friends.

Mary is survived by her two children, Ernie Lea and his wife Kristie of Macon, and Marlene Lucas and her husband, Shawn of Macon, nine grandchildren; Ronnie Lea (Liz), Kristy Lea (Rob), Nick Lea, Christopher Lueckenhoff, Karen Butner (Jon), Jordan Janes (Chance), Riley Lucas (Edith), Andrew Lucas (Mindy), and Katelyn Hall (Taylor), many great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wesley Dean Lea, and one brother, Earvin Farris.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Monday, March 9, 2026, at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Macon. The family suggests memorials to the Macon Health Care Activities Department
