Ronald Charles Brown

Ronald Charles Brown, 86, of Excello, MO, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 18, 2026 surrounded by family.

Ron was born on April 6, 1939 in St. Louis County, MN, the son of Carl and Sylvia (Ojanen) Brown. He was united in marriage to Geri Sampson on June 18, 1960 in Babbit, MN. Ron was a mechanic on heavy equipment and enjoyed playing cards, traveling, camping, hunting and fishing, and especially spending time with his family.

Ron is survived by his wife, Geri of the home; eight children, Robin Vermande, Terri Brown, Deborah Ratcliffe, Randy Brown, Michael Brown, Sarah Jacobsen, Amber Lamb, and Rebecca White; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his two brothers, Steve Brown and Eddie Brown; one sister, Barbara Ford; nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Benjamin; one daughter, Sharie; one granddaughter, Raine; and two sisters, Marlene and Irene.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the Callao Christian Church in Callao, MO, with Bro. Josh Stucki officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, MO.
