Mary Lou Lennington

Mary Lou Lennington, 96 year old Woodward resident, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025 in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2025 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Fargo Cemetery.
Mary Lou (Hohweiler) Lennington was born on March 11, 1928 in Fargo, Oklahoma to Chris and Martha Louise (Kelln) Hohweiler. She grew up in Fargo and attended Fargo schools. Mary was united in marriage to Otis Ray Lennington on August 21, 1946 in Woodward, Oklahoma. They made their home in Fargo and lived in various places including Keyes, Oklahoma, Guymon before moving back to Woodward. She was the head cook at the Keyes School cafeteria, the Manager of Ashley's Outlet store in Guymon. She was also the head cook at the grade school in Guymon for a number of years.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Carol Lewis and husband Bob; one sister Beverly Baird; two grandchildren: Colby Lewis and Clay Lewis; two great-grandchildren, Conway and Caydon Lewis; other relatives and friends.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Otis, one daughter Marilyn, three sisters and two brothers.
