Dale, as she was known, was born on April 16 and is preceded in death by her parents Ruth P. (Dale) and Hervey C. Carter, her brother, Robert H., and her son, Paul L. Lavallee, III. Dale is survived by her sister Roxanne, brother Clifford, daughters Ruth and Susan, and her granddaughter, Danielle.
Dale was born in Virginia and raised in New England. As an adult, Dale lived in Massachusetts, California, Missouri, and finally settling in Florida.
Dale lived her life with no regrets. Trying new endeavors came easily to her. She was self-employed, Crystal Cleaning, assisting those in need and always spoke fondly of working at a freshwater pearl farm named Pearl Pond while in California. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, bingo and her animals. She was warm and friendly and had many friends that were dear to her. She will be missed by everyone who loved her.
A celebration of life may be planned at a future date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations made in her name to St. Francis Hospice Foundation online here: https://reflectionslsc.org/donate/ or by calling 321-269-4240.
