MARY E. LUQUE
(RICKARD)
Age 71, of Frankfort passed away Sunday, March 31st, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.
Mary is survived by her loving family. Her husband, Jose and children, Carly, Joe and Jennifer. Siblings, Daniel (Trish) Rickard, Michael (Michelle) Rickard, Margaret Woods, Patricia (Tim) Kearns, Tom Rickard, Christopher Rickard, her grandsons, who she referred to as her “favorite boys”, Ganon and Joseph. She was a loving aunt and tia to numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas & Betty Rickard (O’Rourke).
Mary retired from Homewood Flossmoor High School as a Spanish teacher after 31 years of service. She loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends.
Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Sunday, April 7th, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral service, Monday, April 8th, 2024 at 9:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Coletta’s of Illinois would be greatly appreciated.
