Mary Frances Massingill, 70, died July 22, 2025, at her home in Burlington. She was born September 25, 1954, in Birmingham, AL, to Hoyt Jones and "Pat" (Davis) Bibby. Mary Frances enjoyed driving in the hills and soaking in nature's beauty with Ray. They also loved camping and fishing. After Ray's death, Mary Frances took pleasure in just being with her family and grandchildren. Mary Frances worked at Life Care Center as a dietary aide and former CNA until 2013. On July 19, 1970, she married Donnie Ray Massingill Jr. in Downey, CA. They shared almost 43 years of marriage before Ray died July 2, 2013. Mary Frances is survived by: children, Dohni Johnson and husband Ron, Hoyt Massingill, Jayni Massingill; grandchildren, Mason Haney, Micciah Johnson, Bryce Massingill, Amber Wells, Malachi Massingill, Alexis Massingill, Benjamin Massingill; 16 great grandchildren and one on the way; sisters, Rhonda Kowalczyk, Laree Childree, Jean Halsted, and Bobbi Jo Bibby. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray; sister, Wanda Smith; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Ables. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Jones Funeral Home, Burlington, with Allen Lockhart officiating. Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery, northeast of Burlington. No visitation is planned. Memorial donations may be made to Hand in Hand Hospice, in care of Jones Funeral Home, PO Box 277 Burlington, KS 66839.
