MARY LOUISE MATHIS
Of Niagara Falls, NY passed away April 14, 2025. She was born in Montezuma, Georgia on March 10, 1947, the daughter of the late John and Annie Mae (Harris) Hannor, Jr.
Mrs. Mathis was a nurse's aide with Niagara Geriatrics where she worked for many years before retiring from Niagara Hospice. She enjoyed spending time with family and loving friends. She was a faithful follower of her loving father the Sovereign Lord Jehovah God for 36 wonderful years. She loved reading the bible, teaching, sharing Jehovah's words and had many favorite scriptures.
Acts 2:26-28 On this account my heart became cheerful and my tongue rejoiced greatly. And I will reside in hope; 27 because you will not leave me in the Grave, nor will you allow your loyal one to see corruption. 28 You have made life's ways known to me; you will fill me with great joy in your presence.
She was the wife of the late Nathaniel Mathis
Survived by her son Terry wife Melanie Mathis with 4 children. Daughters: Sophia Mathis with 3 children, Aretha and late husband Donald Harris with 4 children, LaDonna and husband Lonzia Collins Jr with 2 children, Latonya Mathis with 3 children "Damian, Dashawn, and Javier Mathis". Sisters: Laura Hubbard and Voncile Adams, Mary Kate Gray, Carolyn Hannor and sister in faith Shirley Tucker. Brothers: John Henry Hannor, and James Henry Hannor.
Services will be held on Saturday April 26, at 1PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 3200 17th St., Niagara Falls, NY 14305.
