Mary Ann McBryde of Huntsville, Arkansas was born September 11, 1947, in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to Willis and Ollie (Green) Simpson. Mary passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022, in Eureka Spring, Arkansas, at the age of 74.
Mary was a believer in God who made the most important thing in her life. She is regarded as a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mary and her husband Leon tanned animals hides and drove in demolition derbies. They also raised many animals and rehabbed many more.
On April 4, 1964, Mary was united in marriage to Frankie Leon McBryde who survives her of the home. She is also survived by her children John McBryde (Camille) of Berryville, Arkansas, Laura McBryde of Springdale, Arkansas, Matthew McBryde
(Penny) of Golden, Missouri, and Sarah Ferron (David) of Bergman, Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her parents Willis and Ollie Simpson; daughter Lisa Case; son Frankie Leon McBryde III.
A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2022, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the Good Shepherd Humane Society, 6486 Hwy 62 E, Eureka Springs, AR 72632. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
