Mary Annice McCrory, 92, of Kosciusko, Mississippi, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2026, at Holmes County Long Term Care Center in Durant, Mississippi. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Parkway Cemetery. Rev. Art Land and Rev. Jim McEachern will officiate the services.
Mary Annice was born on February 18, 1933, to John Oscar McEachern and Doris James McEachern in Carroll County, Mississippi. Her family reared her in Vaiden, Mississippi, where she graduated from Vaiden High School. Annice worked at Durant Sportswear until becoming City Clerk for the town of Pickens, where she served 28 ½ years. Annice was a long-time member of Parkway Baptist Church. She was a resident for the past 7 years at Atwood/ Willows Personal Care Home.
Mary is survived by sons, Frankie (Robin) McCrory of Lexington, Mississippi and David Neal McCrory of Ennis, Montana; grandchildren, Allison Annice (Jason) Townsend of Starkville, Mississippi, Strider McCrory of Inverness, Mississippi, and Dr. Lily Fran Guastella of Lexington, Mississippi; great grandchildren, Nichols McCrory and Crosby McCrory of Inverness, Mississippi, Trevor Townsend and Micah Townsend of Starkville, Mississippi, and Franco Guastella of Lexington, Mississippi; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John McEachern and Doris McEachern, her husband, Donald R. McCrory, brother, James (Harriet) McEachern of Pearl, Mississippi, and sister, Jeanette (Dan) Oakes of Kosciusko, Mississippi.
Serving as pallbearers are Jason Townsend, Trevor Townsend, Strider McCrory, Nichols McCrory, Myron Courts, and Bubba Herrington. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Emmitt Smitherman, Mike McCrory, Mike McEachern, and Jesse Leverette.
