Mary Ellen McGhee: May 12, 1947 – September 21, 2025

Mary Ellen McGhee, born May 12, 1947, passed on to the next stage of her journey the morning of September 21, 2025. Mary was a loving mother and devoted Christian who loved to laugh, work in her garden, play all manner of card games, and sing – loudly and off-key. She was most at home in her own kitchen and her favorite person was her dog, Jack. Her fondest memories were of spending time with her grandparents as a little girl, at their home in Jackson, Ohio. Blue morning glories were her favorite flower.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, John L. McGhee and Norma Mae (McDonald) McGhee as well as her brother John "Jay" McGhee, sister Nina "Snooks" (McGhee) Parker. She is survived by her sons, Theodore "Ted" R. Grim and Richard "Rick" A. Grim, her sister Nancy L. (McGhee) Johnson, her brother Asa "Ace" McGhee, her sisters-in-law Cayla and Debbie, in addition to numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. All of whom, she dearly loved.
