Mary Lynn Meiners, age 68, passed away at Serenity Hospice and Home on February 21, 2025. She was born on April 26, 1956 the daughter of Wayne and Joanne (Johnson) Blunck. Mary married Steven Meiners on February 10, 1979 and they built a beautiful life together over the last 46 years. Mary enjoyed spending time outdoors in her flower garden. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan that bled Cubby blue. Her signature color was teal. But, more than anything Mary loved her family and friends. She was a devoted and excellent wife, mother, and grandmother who made sure her family knew how deeply she loved them. Mary is preceded in death by her mother, sister, and brother. She is survived and missed by her husband, Steven of Dixon; father, Wayne Blunck of Monroe Center; children, Garett (Candace) Meiners of Franklin Grove, Gaven (Tracy) Meiners of Dixon, and Andra (Erik) Tremble of Oregon; sister, Nancy (Brian) Opsahl of Byron; and grandchildren, Drew, Ryder, Tanner, Brileigh, Kaelyn, Benett, Boyd, and Etta. I last saw Mary, Steve & the family at a Cub game about 5 years ago. They were all done up in their Cubby Blues. A great way to remember the beautiful person that Mary was.

Mary and I attended Rockford College at the same time. She was always the prettiest & most popular girl. I looked-up to her so much. Mary was the total package - beauty & brains. My heart goes out to Steve and her entire family during this difficult time. Rest well, Mary. Always remembered.
