Mary L. Mincemoyer

Mary L. Mincemoyer, 79, of Rockford, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. Born November 9, 1945, in Madison, MN, the daughter of Edward C. and Ella S. (Johnson) Jackson. She graduated from Madison High School, Class of 1963 and attended St. Cloud State College and Lutheran Bible Institute. Mary worked for OSF Specialty Clinic Guilford Square as a secretary before retiring in 2014. She married Norman R. Mincemoyer on July 22, 1967. He predeceased her on October 29, 2019.
Survived by her children, Scott (Mary) Mincemoyer of Roscoe and Missy (Mike) Thompson of Rockford; grandchildren, Daniel & Karina Mincemoyer and Cameron & Payton Davis; and siblings, Kay Nickander of The Villages, FL and Dick (Carolyn) Jackson of River Falls, WI. Also predeceased by her parents; and brother-in-law, Rod Nickander.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Fred C. Olson Chapel, 1001 Second Ave., Rockford. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the family. To share a memory or condolence visit olsonfh.com .
