Mary Moon Coffee Obituary

Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Hosier Elmer and Mary Frances Moon. She was a retired beautician. Mary Jane was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a member of First Baptist Church of Iva.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Terry W. and Marie Chasteen; daughter, Tina Chasteen Phinney; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Patsy Sweatt and Gale Waters; and a brother, David Moon.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Fred Richard "Rick" Chasteen; daughter, Tonya Tamara Chasteen; and a great-grandson, Dakota Blume.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Jerry Gray. Burial will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621, or First Baptist Church of Iva, P.O. Box 475, Iva, SC 29655.
