Mary Dean Moore, 95, of Rule, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2025. Condolences may be made at www.haskellfuneralhometx.com.
Mary was born June 28, 1930 in Springfield, Missouri to the late Joseph Martin “Mac” McGuire and Willie Belle Pierce McGuire. Her family moved to Quanah, TX, when she was eleven years old. She married Edwin Earl Moore on May 10, 1952 in Quanah, TX.
Mom dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker and was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton, TX. Mom was a devoted Christian who loved reading the Bible. She faithfully served for many years as a teacher in children’s Bible school and sang in the church choir. In her quiet moments, she enjoyed bird watching and handwork embroidery.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and four siblings.
Mary is survived by her sons, Paul Moore and wife Joyce of Rule, Texas and David Moore and wife Angela of Knox City, Texas and her daughter, Susie Jarrell of Carrollton, Texas; grandchildren, Benjamin Jarrell of Dallas, Texas and Emily May of The Colony, Texas; 2 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of dear friends.
