Mary Frances Myers, a beloved member of her community, departed this life on September 30, 2025, at Pinewood Manor Nursing Home in Hawkinsville, Georgia. Born on April 8, 1940, in Unadilla, Georgia, she blossomed into a remarkable woman whose warmth and kindness impacted all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Mrs. Myers dedicated a significant portion of her professional life as a secretary to EMC in Hawkinsville, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to her work for many years. Her meticulousness and dedication became a hallmark of her career, endearing her to colleagues and patrons alike. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, where she nurtured her spiritual ties and contributed to her community's fabric.

Mary was not only defined by her professional journey but also by her rich family life. She was the cherished daughter of James and Frances Smith, and though they have since departed this earthly realm, their love and values indelibly shaped her life. She was also predeceased by her loving husband, Richard V. Myers, and her dear daughter, Teresa Faye Myers and brothers, Ed and Charlie Smith, all whom hold a treasured place in the hearts of those who remain.

Surrounded by love, she was a proud mother to her daughter, Lisa Burdeshaw, wife of Kip, and a doting grandmother to Ridge Grinstead and his wife Morgan, as well as to her great-grandchildren, Ella and Brice Grinstead, brother, James (Alice) Smith; sister in laws, Bonnie Smith and Helen Ingram. Together, they carry forward her legacy, the embodiment of her nurturing spirit and love.

Mary Frances will be lovingly remembered not only for her commitment to her family but also for her joyful pursuits. She reveled in shopping and treasured moments spent with her loved ones, which brought her immense joy and contentment. Her personality radiated warmth, leaving an everlasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to cross her path.

In honoring her memory, friends and family are invited to visit with family on October 3 & 4th, 2025, at the Grinstead Residence located at 68 Watson St, Hawkinsville, GA. A formal Visitation will also be held on October 5, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at Clark Funeral Home, situated at 142 Commerce St, Hawkinsville, GA. Burial will be held privately at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in the family plot.
