Mary Lou Neeley

Mary Lou Neeley, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, was called to her eternal home on September 10, 2025, in Jackson, MS, at the age of 70. Born on April 26, 1955, in Corpus Christi, TX. Her life was a testament to the Christian values of kindness, generosity, and creativity that she held dear.

Mary Lou was a devoted homemaker, a calling she embraced with joy and dedication. She created a warm and welcoming home where laughter was plentiful, and every guest felt like family. Her creative touch could be seen in every corner.

A woman of faith, Mary Lou lived her beliefs through her actions, offering her time and talents wherever they were needed. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.

Mary Lou's love for the outdoors was evident to anyone who spent time with her. She found peace and joy in fishing and camping, often accompanied by family and friends. These moments under the open sky brought her great happiness and provided cherished memories for her loved ones.

Her passion for crafting and entertaining brought people together, creating moments of joy and celebration that will be remembered fondly. She loved creating special memories for her grandsons. Her creativity was not just a hobby but a way of sharing her heart with the world.

Mary Lou is survived by her loving family, who will carry on her legacy of love and kindness. Her daughter, Rhonda Penson, and her husband David; grandsons, Ryan and Tayler Penson; and her surviving sister, Sue Smith, with her husband Michael, will all hold dear the memory of Mary Lou's spirit. She rejoins in Heaven her beloved father, U.D. Ince, her mother, Mozelle Ferguson, her brother Glen Ince, and sisters Joy Murphy and Maxine Boone, who preceded her in passing.

Mary Lou's life was a beautiful reflection of her values. She was the embodiment of creativity, generosity, and thoughtfulness. Her impact on those around her was profound and will continue to be felt through the countless lives she touched.

As we bid farewell to Mary Lou Neeley, we are comforted by the belief that she is now in the loving embrace of our Lord. Her spirit will remain with us, guiding and inspiring, as we cherish every memory. Mary Lou will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A memorial service will be held at Wynndale Baptist Church in Terry. More details to come.
