So sorry for your loss. Mary was a wonderful person and good friend to our family, especially my mother. So many memories of boating and snow skiing.

How well I remember Mary from the days of growing up in Grand Haven. My father {Rev. Carl Strange} thought so much of her during our days with then - First Methodist Church in the 1950's. She is a beautiful person.

Mary always had a kind word for everyone and knew the history of many, many families as she helped deliver and care for thousands of babies born in the Tri-cities. My dad, Dr. Preston VanKolken, worked closely with Mary for many years and had the highest respect for her professional and personal talents, he often said "she was one in a million!"

I will always remember how kind Mary was to me through all my procedures. She was a calming influence in a somewhat anxious situation. I thought a lot of her even though I haven´t seen her for many years.
