Mary Norris Strickland Obituary
DOTHAN, AL Mary Ann Norris Strickland, a resident of Dothan, Alabama, passed away Monday night, November 6, 2023, at a Dothan hospital. She was 70.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Concord Baptist Church with Reverend Scott Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Opp, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M. prior to the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
Ms. Strickland was born in Opp, Alabama to the late Lee Ellis Norris and Mary Wells Norris Cole. She lived there most of her life until moving to the Headland, Alabama and Dothan, Alabama areas over forty years ago. She had previously worked at Globe Motors, Headland Pharmacy, and Walmart before her retirement. She was a member of the Concord Baptist Church.
Leaving to cherish her memories is her daughter, Melony Strickland; her brothers, Kimmy Norris and Ray Norris (Mary); her step-brothers, David Cole (Shirley) and Terry Cole (Lisa); her step-sister, Kathy Armstrong; and her several nieces and nephews.
