Mary Pat was born January 12, 1959 in Davenport, the daughter of Patrick and Mary (LaMar) Naab. She married Robert Otten on September 27, 1980 in Rock Island. She was a member of St. Pius X Church.

Mary Pat was a one-of-a-kind soul who loved people fiercely and wholeheartedly. To know her was to love her. Her genuine, approachable nature made others feel valued and appreciated, and she had a unique gift for lifting people's spirits. Her love for Jesus and her great faith were deeply important to her, and she could be known to share that faith with others with rosary bracelets she made.

Her love for her family and friends knew no bounds, and she would go above and beyond to support those she cherished. Her grandchildren-Madison, Nicholas, Zachary, and William-were her greatest treasures, bringing her immense joy and a sense of purpose. A true Irish spirit at heart, Mary Pat loved St. Patrick's Day, donning her green attire and sharing her love of the Irish heritage with everyone around her. Her fun-loving nature created cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

Those left to remember her are Bob and their daughters, Bridget Otten, Rock Island, Kelley (Nick) Wenthe, Coal Valley and Maggie Otten, Davenport; grandchildren, Madison, Zachary, William and Nicholas and granddogs, Sawyer, Rojo and Smith; sisters, Mimi (Steve) Moller, Rock Island, Gina Anderson, Wichita, KS and Robin (Dallas) Pfantz, State Center, IA and brothers, John (Nora) Naab, Moline, Michael Naab, Morton, IL, Tom (Dawn) Naab, Cardoff, CA, Louis (Tracy) Naab, Bettendorf and Lt. Col Danny (Brigit) Naab, Charlotte, NC. and many dear friends and family. She was preceded in death by her sister Bridget and brothers, Pat and Bill.

She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

Her legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.

Mary Pat and I go back to when we were neighbors and new moms. I´ll always have a special place in my heart for her. Her love for her family and friends was the first thing I always felt when around Mary. And her laugh will be one of my most cherished memories! RIP dear Mary.
