Mrs. Mary Ellen (Snyder) Owens of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland in Somerset, Kentucky, having attained the age of 75 years, 4 months and 20 days. She was born in Fostoria, Ohio, on Wednesday, April 26, 1950, the daughter of Charles & Ruth (Yates) Snyder. She was of the Christian Faith, a devoted homemaker, and farmer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Owens, whom she wed on August 29, 1969, son, Joey Owens, brothers, Danny Lee, and John Snyder.

She is survived by her children, Glenn Owens (& Amy) of Gibsonburg, Ohio, Linda Owens-Wills (& Jeff) of Curtice, Ohio, Jamie Owens (& Charlene) of Burkesville, Kentucky, siblings, Donald Snyder of Burkesville, Kentucky, Mark Snyder of Florida, grandchildren, Natalie Owens, Katie Owens, and Cole Owens.

The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Ogle officiating. Family will receive friends starting at 11:00 AM until the funeral hour. Burial will be in the Burkesville Cemetery in Burkesville, Kentucky.
