Mary Elaine Petrigac, age 72, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025. Born on August 15, 1953, to Raymond and Margaret Raffay, Mary lived a life filled with love, laughter, and simple joys. She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Al; her children, Rob (Shelley) and Stacy Petrigac; and her cherished grandson, Derek. Mary was a beloved sister to Marge (Marty) Berei, Ray (Lorie, and the late Cheryl) Raffay, Tom (Kathy) Raffay, John (Reneah) Raffay, Marty (Jean) Raffay, Vic (Karen) Raffay, Steve (Cindy) Raffay, and the late Robert Raffay. Beloved cousin, aunt and great-aunt to many. Mary found happiness in life's quiet joys. She could be found traveling with Al, spending summers on the lake in Michigan, and soaking up the sun with a good book in hand. She treasured time with her family, especially her grandson Derek, with whom she shared many joyful times playing Monopoly and card games. Her days were often filled with shopping adventures alongside her dear friend, the late Zelma Greynolds, or hitting the jackpot at a great garage sale with Al. Mary was loved by all who knew her and will be missed greatly. Remembrances may be made in the form of contributions to the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association.
