Ronald Hakaim Obituary

Ronald A. Hakaim, age 70, of Independence, Ohio, passed away on September 30, 2025. He was born on May 20, 1955, to the late Jeanie and Richard F. Hakaim.
Beloved father of Jay Alan and Melanie Victoria (Chris); cherished grandfather of Evangeline and London Victoria; loving brother of Richard M. Hakaim (Jody), Sandra Gedeon (Robert), Debra Burns (Dave), Alan Hakaim (Lisa); and dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Ron will be remembered for his sharp sense of humor, his endless jokes, and his generous spirit. He often gave his time to serve others, especially through volunteering to feed those in need. A devoted member of St. Matthew's Orthodox Church, Ron's faith was an important part of his life.
He attended Normandy High School in Parma and spent his career as a dedicated produce manager, later working as a security guard during retirement. Above all, Ron was a loyal friend to everyone he met and will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
Memorial services will be held at St. Matthews Orthodox Church in North Royalton at 10:30am on Monday, October 6, 2025. Burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted. A Celebration of Life in his honor will be held from 3pm-7pm in Independence.
