Mary dedicated over 40 years of exemplary service to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR). Colleagues remember her as a dedicated and hardworking employee who truly cared about the well-being of others.

In her personal life, Mary enjoyed the simple pleasures that brought joy and warmth to her days. She was fond of doing crossword puzzles, playing cards, and bowling, and she was an avid reader. Her gentle nature and compassionate spirit were evident to all who knew her, as she continuously cared for her family and helped those around her.

Mary was Methodist by faith, embodying the values of kindness and community that were central to her beliefs.

Mary is lovingly remembered by her cherished husband, Tom Randolph; her devoted daughter, Rebecca North; her nephews, Jeremiah Pond and Matthew Garey; and her adored grandson, Elijah North. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and countless friends who mourn her passing but celebrate her legacy of love and kindness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Lillie (Crow) Garey, and her sisters, Ruth Ann Garey, Janet Lee Wnek, Vickie Lynn Pond, and Verna Mae Garey.
