Mary Reed Obituary
Mary Suedella Reed, 82, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at her home.
Born November 4, 1940, in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Overby Sullivan, and Frances Elizabeth (Rodgers) Sullivan.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Gerald Levi Reed, and her daughter-in- law Eva Reed
Mary Sue was a graduate of Waynesboro High School, class of 1958. She studied at Geisinger Medical Center for nursing.
Mary Sue worked as a nurse's aide at Waynesboro Hospital, she also worked in retail and retired as a store manager at P.J. Moore.
She was a lifetime member of Wayne Heights Brethren Church.
Mary Sue was a friend of Dr. Bob.
Mary Sue is survived by sons, Timothy A. Reed of Waynesboro, PA, William Kevin Reed (Tammy) of Smithsburg, MD, Patrick Gerald Reed (Melissa) of Waynesboro, PA, grandchildren, Merle W. Hess, Allen M. Hess, Amanda J. White, Amber Lopez, T. Evan Reed, A. Ethan Reed, Megan Reed, Isaiah Reed, Kendal Reed, and Bryn Reed.
A Funeral Service will be held at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, 12525 Bradbury Ave, Smithsburg, MD, 21783, on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 11:00 am. Family will be receiving friends for visitation at the funeral home on Monday, June 19, 2023, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
Memorial contributions, in memory of Mary, can be made to the American Cancer Society.
