Mary Reynolds Obituary

Mary graduated from Hillsdale High School in 1956 and went on to work as a cook at 99 Restaurant and later at Hillsdale College. She was a longtime member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Mary enjoyed crocheting and cuddling her beloved dogs.
Mary is survived by six children, Lori (Thomas) Slone, Charles (Lisa) Reynolds, Elizabeth Reynolds, David (Maria) Reynolds, Teresa (Tony) Slovacek, and Jeannine (Scott) David; eleven grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorthy (Gale) Kellam, and Nancy (Mike) Briggs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 46 years, Charles; a brother, Tim Dempsy, and a son-in-law Jeff Vickery.
A funeral for Mary Reynolds will be on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale with Deacon Aaron Petersen officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Hillsdale. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
