Mary Elaine Robinson, age 78, of Jones County, Georgia, peacefully passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, after an extended illness. Born on August 10, 1946, in Dry Branch, Georgia, Mary Elaine was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother who touched the lives of all who knew her.
A woman of grace and compassion, Elaine delighted in traveling and found great joy in caring for her beloved husband, the late Jimmy Carlton Robinson. Her quiet strength and warm spirit created a home filled with love and cherished memories for her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving daughter-in-law, Teresa Farr, her devoted grandson, Blake McKey, who brought her immense pride and happiness; her nephew, Chip Grimsley; and many other nieces and nephews. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Frances Boland; her husband, Jimmy Carlton Robinson; and her son, Benjamin Wade Farr.
A graveside service to honor Elaine's remarkable life will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at James Cemetery, located on James Cemetery Road in Gray, Georgia. Reverend Brad Blackmon will officiate as family and friends gather to celebrate her enduring legacy.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Elaine's memory to the Alzheimer's Association at 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, Georgia 31201, to support research and care for those affected by this challenging disease.
