Mary Kelly Sack
September 1, 1943 – August 26, 2025
Mary Kelly Sack, age 81, of Dormont, PA, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025. Born in Hamilton, Ontario, on September 1, 1943, she was the beloved daughter of the late Edna and Edward Benson.
Known to many simply as Kelly, she brought warmth, wisdom, and generosity to every life she touched. She is survived by her devoted husband, Terry Sack; her loving daughters, Nicole (Paul) Bayhurst of Rockville, MD, and Kerry Sack of Beechview; and her cherished siblings, Kenneth (Patricia) Benson, Eugene Paul (Vicki) Benson, Barbara (Dan) Yody, and Kimberly Benson. She was preceded in death by her brother Gerard (Mary) Benson. Kelly was also a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews who adored her deeply.
Kelly's kitchen was the heart of her home. A phenomenal cook, she was especially known for her incredible soups-always made with love and shared generously. Her stove was often filled with multiple pots bubbling at once, and her table was a gathering place for laughter, conversation, and comfort, always accompanied by a lovely glass of Sancerre.
To know Kelly was to be nourished-body and soul. She made life richer for those around her with her kindness, her culinary gifts, and her unwavering love for family and friends.
The family invites you to honor her memory by raising a glass of your favorite beverage and toasting to a remarkable woman who gave so much of herself to others.
Private arrangements are entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care, Robinson Township, PA.
