Mary Kay Samluk

Mary Kay Samluk, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Graml and Margaret Bingham, and her son, Edward Joseph Samluk.
Mary Kay was married to her husband, Robert F. Samluk, for over 50 wonderful years. Together, they built a loving family and a lifetime of memories. She is survived by her children and their spouses: Christie and Michael Pletz, Robert Samluk II, Joseph and Lisa Samluk, and Michelle Samluk-Biel. Grandchildren, Ashley and Kelly Ponsoll, Corey and Lindsey Pletz, Emily Samluk and fiancé Nick Stefanov, Alexander Pletz and Mackenzie Wollan, Alexxis Biel, Joshua Samluk, Addisyn Biel, Karson Biel, Andrew Samluk, Kollin Biel, Owen Samluk, Brett Samluk and Simona Samluk. Great grandchildren, Shea Ponsoll and Saddie Ponsoll.
Mary Kay was the cherished grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Whether it was Gram, Grandma or Ma, she found her greatest joy in being a grandmother, and she loved her grandchildren more than anything in the world. She was truly a person that put everyone else first and would stop what she was doing to take your call anytime of the day. Her love and dedication to her family were evident in every aspect of her life and will live on throughout her family for generations.
She will be dearly missed by her family, who will forever remember her as a loving and caring, wife, mother and grandmother.
Friends are invited to the Kloecker Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 2502 Sassafras St. on Wednesday from 6pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 7pm. The burial will be held on Thursday at 10am at Laurel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to ANNA Shelter 1555 E Tenth St. Erie, PA 16511 in Mary Kay's memory.
Mary Kay's legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
