Mary Samsel Obituary
(Albion) Mary Pat Samsel age 70, passed away October 16, 2023 at Strong Memorial Hospital. She was born August 18, 1953 in Albion, a daughter of the late Robert and Patricia (McGurn) Conley and had lived in this area most of her life.
Mary graduated from Kendall High School in 1974. She was a devoted mother of 4 loving daughters and a devoted grandmother of 8 grandchildren and many of their friends who lovingly called her Nana.
She was predeceased by her husband Thomas and her sister Frances.
Mary is survived by her daughters Sherry Lewis, Tammy (Jose Manuel Jara) Ramos, Amy (Kevin Reamer) Samsel, Sarah Samsel; grandchildren Kaitlyn, Martin, Antonio, Vanessa, Alejandro, Charles, Cole, Victoria; brother Robert (Patty) Conley as well as several nieces and nephews.
Her Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Colon Cancer Foundation, 10 Midland Ave., Suite M-06, Port Chester NY 10573 or Parkinson’s Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018. Arrangements were entrusted to Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Albion.
