Mary Seveney

Mary Grissett Seveney, age 81, of Port St. John passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at St. Francis Hospice, Titusville, Florida.

Mary was born on Sunday, December 7, 1941 in Grissettown, Brunswick County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Jessie Grissett of Merritt Island, Florida, and the late Luther Grissett of Supply, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her husband, friend, and soul mate, Russell Seveney of Merritt Island, Florida with whom she built a beautiful home filled with laughter and fun. She was also preceded in death by her sister and best friend, Jeannett Lewis of Port St. John; her brother and sister-in-law, Clyde & Doris Bozeman of Longwood, North Carolina. Her nephews Robert Hall and Buddy Brock.

She lives on in spirit through those who survive her: Nieces/Nephews: Theresa Hall, Joseph Lewis, Jackie Lewis Brock, Jerry Lewis, and Jeannie Lewis Benton, Cindy Lewis, Linnie Bozeman Milliken, Bobby Bozeman, and Jesse Bozeman. Grand Nieces/Nephews: Tony Longoria, Joey Lewis, Jacob Lewis, Eddie (Katheryn) Brock, Gerald Brock, Ben Brock, Michael Benton, Jessica (Eric) Williamson, Shaun Milliken, Jessica Dousi, and Jenna Dousi.
Great Nieces/Nephews: Anthony Longoria, Gracie Longoria, Zane Lewis, Treyvin Lewis, Jacob Lewis, Roman Lewis, Ashlyn Lewis, Briella Lewis, Genevieve Brock, Guinevere Brock, Ghislaine Brock, Carolina Brock, Hannah Brock, Jacklynn Brock, Edward Brock, Gunner Brock, Emma Benton, Wyatt Benton, Logan Benton, Aidan Milliken, and Avia Williamson.
Great-Great Niece/Nephew, Payton Curtis and Emerson Curtis.
As we mourn the loss of our beloved aunt, we will always remember her dedication towards her family, friends, and animals. She will be remembered.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, January 7, at Brevard Memorial Park, Cocoa, Florida at 12:00 pm.
