Mary Shook Obituary
Mary Jane Shook
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 6, 1947, the daughter of the late Webster and Bertha Hindman.
On July 5, 1969 she was united in marriage to James Finley Shook, Jr. who preceded his wife in death on August 15, 2022.
Mary worked for 53 years at Keytronics in Corinth, Mississippi. She was a very dedicated employee with a great work ethic. In her spare time she enjoyed being outside working in her garden and flowers. Mary was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church.
She departed this life on Monday, April 22, 2024 in Michie, Tennessee at the age of 76 years, 4 months, and 16 days.
Mary is survived by one son, James Steed Shook of Michie, Tennessee; grandchild, Brittany Jean Shook; one great grandchild; brothers, William Monroe Sagely (Sandra), and Odes Webster Hindman, Jr. (Ruth), all of Tishomingo, Mississippi; and sisters, Vonnie H. Pounders (Melvin) of Iuka, Mississippi, and Margaret Louella Wolfe (Gary) of Fayetteville, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Christina Edwards.
