Champion - Mary Lou Sicuro (born August 7, 1937), of Champion, passed away peacefully at her home on November 19, 2025.

She was the beloved wife of James Sicuro and devoted mother of their seven children – Cheri DePillo, Susan Roman, Jean (Michael) Hutchison, Cindy (Eric) Vetrano, Kim (Darin) Hughes, James (Darcy) Sicuro and Timothy Sicuro.

She retired from Packard Electric after many years of service and hard work. Mary Lou's life was defined by faith and family, and she dedicated herself to nurturing and loving those around her.

She was the cherished grandmother of Dustin (Justine), Leeann, Genna (Zachary), Ian, Taylor, Sadie (Brandon), Hannah and Dallas and the proud great-grandmother of Carson, Landon, Emmett, Cash, Brady, Goldie and Mason. She is survived by her sisters, Cathy Sinopoli and Paulette Williams and was preceded in death by her parents, James and Pauline Phillips, her sister, Margie Hine and her brother, James Phillips.

A devoted follower of Jesus, Mary Lou lived her life with faith, love and grace. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren, crafted beautiful ceramics, always had her diamonds on, loved anything Christmas and treasured vacationing at their condo in Cape Canaveral. Mary Lou and James were always a pair – he was the love of her life, and she was the love of his. She was adored by all who knew her, and her laughter, warmth and gentle wisdom left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

A private service was held for the family on November 24.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Toys for Tots..
