She was born on November 18, 1935 to Robert and Mary (Shoemaker) Patterson in Seminole, PA.
Mary enjoyed plastic canvas and crocheting. She loved cooking and baking for her family. She was proud to have 3 sets of 5 generations in her family. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.
Surviving is her daughter, Kathy (Pete) Semanovich of Nu Mine; sister, Sally (Ron) McGregor of Dayton; grandchildren, Wendy (Richie) Stockdale, PJ (Nikki) Semanovich, Jason North, and Nikki (Paul) Yeaney; great-grandchildren, Danny (Alison), Alex (Karli), Abby (Sam), Chelea (Aaron), Skylar (Dreagon), Matthew, Sarah (Butch), and Tony (Jess); great great-grandchildren, Lanee, Carter, Cade, Oliver, Addison, Hailey, Ryder, Leo, Kaden, Alanna, Joah, Selah, Memorie, Sylias, Rayna, and a babygirl on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; companion, Ronald Anthony; daughter, Debbie North; brothers, Fred, Bill, Bob, George, and Jack Patterson; and a sister, Ann Tero.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 22, 2025, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc, Rural Valley, PA.
An additional hour of visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, 10:00 am - 11:00 am with a funeral service to immediately follow at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc.
Private interment will take place in the Oakland Cemetery -Distant.
