God, please open those pearly gates for another Angel you are bringing home Jane Clay Sigler, 73 who passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025, in her hometown of Clearwater, Fl. They broke the mold on this one Lord. Originally from Ashville, Ohio. A small town where everyone knew their neighbor, especially Jane, with her father being the Chief of Police. President of the Clearwater Jaycees, 88-89. Jane also molded new leaders through Florida Jaycees as Regional Advisor. She received her Senatorship in 1989 and continued those contributions by building a better Florida. She believed in the words of the Jaycee Creed: "Service to Humanity, is the Best Work of Life." Jane volunteered in several non-profits, such as local Wheelchairs 4 Kids and not so Local Rodeheavers Boys Ranch, Muscular Dystrophy, and Veterans Day events. She is survived by her Fiancé, Daniel Langford; brother,Mitch Clay and his wife Linda; Grandson, Jared Jr (12) and many nieces and nephews, Shannon Moreno, Adam Winks, Katie Clay, Bill Clay, Michele Strous, Rua Clay, Liza Wilson. GALE SAWYER

Yesterday

A classmate and friend growing up who lived "right across the tracks". Jane never became a wonderful person but was that way all her life. She gave so much of herself to everyone and left a hole that will be very hard to fill. God Bless you Jane and condolences to family.
