Mary J. Signorino, nee Ciccotto, 97, died peacefully on August 11, 2024.
Born and raised in New York City to the late Angelo and Josephine Ciccotto, nee Sedita, she met the love of her life, Joseph Signorino and the two settled in Brooklyn where they started their family. The Signorino's moved to Staten Island in 1966 and Mary worked as an administrator for MetLife for fifteen years. She was a devoted wife and mother who committed time to her family, especially her parents, in-laws, and children. She was a great seamstress and was known for her incredible warm meals and baked goods. The Signorino's were active parishioners at St. Sylvesters Church in Staten Island where she was a volunteer at their school and church and committed time to visiting nursing homes offering prayers and faith companionship. She was widowed in 1994 and found joy in her community and family to support her through.
In 2018 she moved to Center Bridge in Bridgewater where she was able to make friends and socialize while being closer to her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph Signorino and her dear sibling Charles.
Surviving are her loving children, Sal Signorino and wife Diane and Joann Signorino, her adored grandchildren Lisa and husband Kevin, Joseph and wife Ashley, Erika and husband Tom, and Craig, as well as her cherished great-grandchildren Hazel and Kelly.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00AM on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Avenue, Somerville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM on Friday, August 16, 2024, at St. Sylvester Roman Catholic Church, 856 Targee St, Staten Island, NY.
Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island.
