Memorial Services Celebrating the Life of Mrs. Mary K. Cook Smith, 61, of Monroe, LA, will be held 2:00PM-4:00 PM Saturday, October 26, 2024, at her home.
Mary K. was born March 9, 1963, and passed away on September 25, 2024. She attended Lea Joyner Methodist Church. Mrs. Smith graduated from St. Frederick High School in 1981 and then went on to graduate from Louisiana Tech with a degree in nursing. Mrs. Smith was employed by St. Francis Medical Center for over 16 years and was also a home healthcare nurse. She enjoyed watching Fox news and loved her animals.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Glenn Cook and Nancy Nesom Cook; and her grandparents, Bama Lee Nesom, Glenn Nesom, and Ezra Cook.
Survivors include her brother, Brad Cook and wife Rhonda, as well as numerous friends and coworkers.
