Survived by three sons, Arnton (Jessica) Sparks, Charles Nathan (Janet) Sparks, Danny Paul (Martha) Sparks all of Salyersville, Kentucky, one daughter, Shirley Sparks of Salyersville, Kentucky, three brothers, Danny Lynn (Sarah) of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, David Mitchell (Judy) Reed, Jay Darrin (Missy) Reed all of Salyersville, Kentucky, two sisters, Susan Michelle Blanton of Salyersville, Kentucky, Carlyon Kay Reed of Michigan, seven grandchildren, Lucas Sparks, Jacqueline Sparks, Kayla Sparks, Austin Sparks, Matthew Sparks, Tapanga Sparks, Trustin Sparks, two great grandchildren, Arizonia Sparks, Maddox Sparks, and the father of her children, Danny Ray Sparks.
In addition to her parents, Mary Lou is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Russell Frank and June Bell Adkins Dingus, paternal grandparents, Arnton and Bonnie Patrick Reed, one infant grandson, Baby Boy Sparks, one granddaughter, Rebecca Gaylynn Sparks, one sister, Carolyn Gail Reed, and one brother-in-law, Phillip "Buddy" Blanton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 18, 2025 from the White Oak Church of God with Charles Nathan Sparks and Danny Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell Reed Cemetery at White Oak, Kentucky. Friends may visit the church Sunday, November 16, 2025 after 6:00 P.M. all day Monday, November 17, 2025 and any time prior to funeral services.
