Mary Kelley Stewart passed away on September 29, 2025. Mary was a longtime Haddonfield resident who was born in Margate, NJ, to Maurice and Gertrude Kelley.
Mary went on to graduate from Cabrini College. Shortly thereafter, she met her beloved husband, the late Sloan G. Stewart, also of Margate, NJ.
Mary was the devoted mother of Michael, Douglas (Lindsay) and the late Sharon E. Stewart; Cherished grandmother of Devon, Ryan, Sullivan, Griffin, and Macklin; Dear sister of the late John (Ellen) Kelley.
Mary was an active member of Christ the King Catholic Church, serving as Eucharistic minister, both at mass and home visits, and a dedicated member of her community; belonging to garden club, bridge group, a member of Tavistock, the Fortnightly, and her proud passion, Interfaith Caregivers.
We will remember Mary for her unwavering care, warmth, and support for everyone's lives she touched.
Mrs. Stewart's family will receive friends on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, 9:30-10:45 AM at Christ the King R.C. Church, 200 Windsor Ave, Haddonfield, NJ (https://www.google.com/maps/search/200+Windsor+Ave,+Haddonfield,+NJ?entry=gmail&source=g): where her Funeral Mass will follow at 11am. Interment, Calvary Cem., Cherry Hill, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's name may be made to Christ the King R.C. Church at the above address. ( https://ctkhaddonfield.org/)

Dear Mary´s family , I am so sorry to hear of your mom Mary `s and grandmom´s passing I love chatting with her when I was up our daughters home on the days I was the grandkid´s guardian we chatted about the lovely flowers and she love speaking with me regarding her beautiful family and the love she had for son & wife & grandkids too , she will be miss dearly mad a beautiful neighbor too love and prayers , Bernice Dean aka ( niece as she new me by or Bridget´s mom

Mary was a best friend to Mom -- Jill Murphy. Throughout my life should we "pop in" and spread laughter and positive energy. Hard to overstate the vibe she gave us all with each visit. What a spirit! So much love for us! Thank you Aunt Mary.

Mary was a client of mine for many years but became a very dear friend who had steadfast faith but a sharp wit who loved a good laugh with a twinkle in her eye ... helped me tremendously when my son passed 10 years ago like her beloved Sharon. She wss simply the best of the best and everything that was right with this world .She eill be greatly missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Mary's passing. She was a real treasure, true gardener and a very active member of the Haddonfield Garden Club. She was quite creative and often made the most beautiful floral arrangements. She will be missed.

Whenever I saw Mary she spread her joy! I have fond memories of conversations with her especially after Mass at Christ the King Church in Haddonfield. One of Mary´s greatest gifts was her wonderful sense of humor.

I am so saddened to hear this news of Mrs. Stewart´s passing. She was such a joy to be around and loved how she laughed at life!
I babysat for her children starting st age 12 and she was so nice to me. I´ll never forget it! Loved her! And her kids! RIP Mrs. Stewart.

Mary was one of the sweetest people on this Earth!! I´ve known her for almost 50 years ( I met her when I was in kindergarten!) and remember her always being so sweet, so pretty and the fun mom of my friend, Doug. Im so sad to hear of her passing.
