Mary Stiles, age 87, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on August 19, 2024. She was born on April 7, 1937, in Colfax, Louisiana to Alex and Orena Fredieu Mocksher.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024, located at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive in Shreveport, Louisiana. Funeral services honoring the life of Mary will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Road in Shreveport. Honoring Mary as pallbearers will be Chris Huber, Steven Huber, James Taylor, Larry Schenk, Jeremy Mangum, Khristopher Finklea, Matthew Finklea, and Troy Huber.
Mary married Rudy Stiles and spent her life raising her children, grandchildren, and most of her neighborhood’s children.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rudy Stiles; and daughters, Linda Bennett and Janice Huber. Left to cherish her memory include her sons, Danny Stiles and wife Mary Jo and David Stiles and wife Bethany; grandchildren, Chris Huber, Steven Huber, Amy Schenk, Katie Schexnayder, Megan Stiles, Mark Stiles, Amanda Stiles, and Julia Stiles; 14 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and sons-in-law, Doug Huber and Al Bennett.
