Mary Ann Lawrence Thomas passed away on November 13, 2024 at the age of 86. Left to mourn are her two daughters, Beth Ann Klotz (Alan) of Pittsburgh and Susan Beck (James) of Houston; her grandchildren Austin Crain, Caroline Crain, Sarah Klotz and Jeremy Klotz; her great-grandchild, Cambrie Lindsay; and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
She is joining her Husband, Ronald Thomas; her daughter Janice Crain; grandson Christian Crain; and her beloved kitties Skeeter, Sidney, Alice and BW.
Mary Ann was born in Pittsburgh, PA. She was a 1956 graduate of Scott Township High School, where she met the love of her life, Ron. They married in 1961 to start their 52 years of adventures together. She was very proud to be part of the active-duty Army life with her husband, where they were able to travel the world together. Later they created their home in Baton Rouge, where they raised their three daughters.
She always had her nails painted red and cultivated a beautiful rose garden, but nothing could top her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild, and being called Nana.
Anytime she ended a phone call, Nana would say “I love you more!”
2 Corinthians 12:15 “And as a spiritual father to you, I will gladly spend all that I have and all that I am for you! If I love you more, will you respond to by loving me less”
