Mary J. Tilton, 97, of Maumee, Ohio, previously of Oregon, Ohio passed away on February 12, 2025 at
Maumee Point Assisted Living. She was born in Reidsville, North Carolina on July 3, 1927 to Robert and
Mary (Likens) Pryor. She worked as a clerk at Keiden's Jewelers for many years. She was a shining light
in the lives of all who had the privelage of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by
love, compassion and unwavering faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family,
friends and many more whose lives were touched by her. She loved the Detoit Tigers was a shopper and
was known for her fashion sense, and liked an occasional margarita with her many good friends. She had
tremendous faith and was a member of Intersection Church in Oregon, Ohio.
Mary is survived by her children, Sandra Owens (Joe) and Robert Tilton (Lynette); Grandchildren,
Shelbie Conrad (Jacey) Zach Owens, Olivia Owens, Drew Tilton, Carl Rucki(Christine ) Richard Davenport;
Great grandchild Cora Conrad. And special friend Millie Sweet
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Tilton; her parents Mary and Robert Pryor; and her
grandmother, Virginia Likens.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon
Chapel, 440 South Coy Road on Tuesday February 18 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will
begin in the funeral Home on Wednesday, February 19 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo
Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in Mary's name can be directed to The Alzheimer's Association.

Mary was always so sweet and made me feel welcome, and I remember fondly her beautiful southern accent and charm. She was a 2nd mom to me. My deepest condolences to Rob and Sandy, family and friends.
