Funeral services celebrating the life of Mary Louise Trader will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Bethel Congregational Methodist Church, 1316 Union Grove Church Road, Pleasant Hill, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Bro. Brian Jennings. Interment will follow at Zions Rest Cemetery in Wallace, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service on Wednesday, August 18, 2023, at the church.
Louise was born on October 12, 1938, in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana to Walter and Clara Frazier King and entered into rest on Friday, August 11, 2023, in Mansfield, Louisiana.
Louise was a lifelong member of Bethel Congregational Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother. She was always willing to help others and loved by everyone who knew her.
Preceding Louise in death are her husband, Joe M. Trader, Sr; her parents; son, Timothy Trader; siblings, Kenneth King, Linda Landrum, and Jerry King; and brother-in-law, Troy Landrum.
Left to cherish her memory is her sons, Joe Trader, Jr. and wife, Danielle of Phoenix, Arizona, Jeffrey S. Trader, Sr. of Mansfield, Louisiana, and Paul Trader and wife, Carla of Pelican, Louisiana; brothers, David King and wife, Lorraine of Gloster, Louisiana, and Marvin King and wife, Melba of Whitehouse, Texas; sister-in-law, Noel King of Shreveport, Louisiana; 12 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Honoring Louise as pallbearers will be Darren Frazier, Gary Frazier, Samuel King, Robert Wilson, Stanley Davis and Homer Free.
