Mary Trigger Obituary

Mary "Snooks" Trigger, 75, longtime Loudoun County, resident passed away peacefully after a long illness on Tuesday February 4, 2025. Daughter of Victor R. and Mary F. Berliner, she was predeceased by older brother Victor F. Berliner and survived by brothers Alfred "Gene" Berliner, Richard "Bird Dog" Berliner and sister Charlotte "CC" Tincher, as well as extended family. Snooks was a graduate of Loudoun County High School and Old Dominion University.

Snooks had a multitude of interests and work experiences in her lifetime. An avid equestrian, she participated in Pony Clubs in both New Jersey and Virginia, competed in Nationals twice and internationally, and rode with local fox hunt clubs. Snooks was always up for adventure. Road trips were a passion whether local, cross-country or up and down the east coast with friends, family, to check out horses, water parks, or just for the heck of it. Known to enjoy dessert before dinner, she loved to try new places and foods but always made sure to get her black eyed peas and hog jowls every New Year. Work included insurance, vet tech, construction, ER admin at Loudoun Memorial Hospital (Cornwall), restaurant, hotel, and gas station experience where she expanded her social circle.

Snooks had a quick sense of humor, danced to the beat of her own drum, and was described as a "hoot" by many.

A celebration of life will be held at Magnolias in Purcellville, VA at 1 pm on Saturday March 1, 2025. Please send RSVP to [email protected] by February 19th. She will be greatly missed by family and friends with the laughter and smiles shared. As Snooks would say "Rock on!" Mary "Snooks" (nee Berliner ) Trigger

Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of your loved one.

I knew Mary (Snooks) from our teen-age years as students at Loudoun County High School, Leesburg, VA. While I am not sure if we had any classes together through high school, we were both members of the LCHS Class of 1967. GO RAIDERS !!!

it is my sincere prayer that God will bless you and fill your hearts with peace, comfort and encouragement in the days ahead.

With deepest sympathy,

Emily J. Havener
