98, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on March 19, 2026, at Jefferson/Albert Einstein Medical College, surrounded by her loving family. She was beloved wife of the late Francis W., her husband of over 50 wonderful years. She is survived by her loving daughter: Joan M Tumulty and by her sons John J (his wife Theresa S.) and by Richard J ( his wife Anne M.) Tumulty. She was the devoted grandmother of Elizabeth A. and Laure B Tumulty, great grandmother of Makari Tumulty, and Evan and Leah Spivey. She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephewsand by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Mary, affectionately known as " Mom, Nanny, Aunt Mary" was a cornerstone of her family, playing an integral role in raising her own children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her impact on their lives is immeasurable, and her legacy will continue to thrive through the generations she touched.

In her earlier years, she worked as a Bell Telephone "Operator". She was also a compassionate caregiver to many, always ready to lend a helping hand and provide comfort to those in need. Her reliability and unwavering support made her a cherished friend to many.

Outside of her work and caregiving, Mary enjoyed life's simple pleasures. She had a passion for Baking; known for her apple, and carrot cake, and going to the beach. She found joy and excitement in taking trips to he shore with the family

Throughout her life, Mary shared a profound bond with her many friends, nurturing a love for people that she passed on to her children and grandchildren. But above all, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. Her warm embraces, comforting words, and genuine smiles will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Private Life Celebration with Immediate family will be held in honor of Mary on Wednesday, April 1st, at the Geitner Givnish Life Celebration Home with her funeral service to follow, commemorating her life and the cherished memories she created. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery
