Mary Elaine Warcup

Elaine Warcup passed away peacefully into the arms of her late husband Jack and the Lord, with her children and grandchildren by her side on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Wynn Hospital.

Elaine was born April 16, 1941, and was the sole child of the late John and Mary Yager. Elaine graduated from Holland Patent Central School Class of 1959. She attended Utica School of Commerce where she met her best friend, Jack Warcup. They were married on January 20, 1962, and shared a special union for 52 years until jack's passing November of 2014. Their 52 year union brought three wonderful children, Brian, Sandy and Tom. There were always the "apples" of their eyes.

Elaine worked at the Bank of Utica until the children were born and then became a 'stay at home' mom until they were all in school. Elaine went to work at Holland Patent School District until 2005 when she retired. In retirement, she worked for a year for the Town of Trenton before fully retiring. Jack and Elaine enjoyed camping, the St. Lawrence River and just being together. She was also a member of the Trenton United Methodist Church and taught Sunday School for a period of time.

Elaine is survived by her children, Brian Warcup; daughter, Sandra Warcup Graves and her husband Chris and Thomas Warcup and his wife Holly. She also leaves 6 grandchildren who kept her going, Larissa Warcup, Nathan Graves, Austin Graves, Megan Graves, Tommy Warcup and Dylan Warcup; 5 great grandchildren, Arabella Kahn, Logan and Naomi Warcup and Lainey and Ainsley Graves. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Jacqueline Warcup.

Elaine's family wishes to extend their gratitude to the 7th floor staff at Wynn Hospital for all their wonderful care and compassion.

Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no public visitation. Interment will be in the spring in Fairchild Cemetery, Remsen. Arrangements are with Dimbleby Funeral Homes, 7944 Steuben St., Holland Patent.
