Mary K. Ward

Mary K. Ward, 83, of Lansdale, died Tuesday, March 31, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late John A. Ward, Jr., who died in 1991.

Born December 11, 1942 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (O'Keefe) Park.

Mrs. Ward was employed as a legal clerk with Fox Rothschild for many years. Previously, she and her husband ran their family business, Ward Roofing.

Earlier in life, Mary was an active member of the Norristown Art League and was an avid reader. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time with family at their home in Long Beach Island.

Survivors include her children, Julia Donovan of Souderton, Susan McCarty of Lansdale, Mary Muller (Russell) of Harleysville, and John A. Ward III (Jacqueline ter Kuile) of Harleysville; 14 grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren with one more "on the way;" and her siblings, Joseph Park (Lynn) of Telford, Kathleen Fazzone (Richard) of Maryland, and Richard Park (Georgia) of Alexandria, VA.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Park.

Relatives and friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Prayer Service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
