Patricia A. (Skowronski) Nelson, 84, of Lansdale, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

Born in Philadelphia on March 27, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina (DeSpirito) Skowronski. She graduated from John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School in 1960, where she maintained perfect attendance all four years.

Pat spent much of her life in Philadelphia and Delaware County before settling in Lansdale 15 years ago. She was a devoted member of Corpus Christi RC Church in Lansdale.

Pat was known for her warmth and generosity. She always had a smile and a kind word, whether for lifelong friends or someone she had just met. She loved to host family dinners and took great joy in welcoming guests with enthusiasm, often insisting they eat more and proudly attributing it to her Italian heritage. Her family will always remember her for her famous spaghetti dinners and the care she put into bringing everyone together.

She found happiness in gardening, took pride in her home, and especially enjoyed time spent in the mountains of New Hampshire.

She had a deep compassion for both people and animals, which she expressed through her generosity and her love of adopting and caring for dogs over the years.

Pat worked as a typesetter with W.B. Saunders Publishing Company in Philadelphia for 25 years, where she was known for her remarkable speed, typing up to 95 words per minute. After retiring, she worked as a lunch mother at Corpus Christi School in Lansdale, where she was a familiar face and well loved by the kids.

She is survived by her former husband and friend, Joseph Nelson of Lansdale; her daughters, Tracy Neher of Chadds Ford and Audrey (Chuck) Maciunas of Gilbertsville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Skowronski, and her lifelong best friend, Sally Seip.

A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, April 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Corpus Christi RC Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA. Friends may call from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at the church.

Interment will take place at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery County SPCA, 1059 Sweisford Road, Perkiomenville, PA 18074.
