Mary Joyce Webb, 89, of Gardner, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Heywood Hospital, with her loving family by her side.
Born in Worcester, October 31, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Rose (Briand) Melanson. She was a graduate of Gardner High School in the class of 1953 and was employed as a Paraprofessional with the Gardner School system. Later, Joyce worked in the video department at Stop & Shop, retiring in 1982.
Joyce was a devoted parishioner of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Gardner. She found joy in reading, shopping, and weekend getaways, especially trips to the beach both near and far. In her younger years, she loved visiting Las Vegas and spending time at the casino. Most of all, Joyce cherished the moments she shared with her beloved family.
She was survived by her two sons, Michael A. Webb and his wife Kimberly of Gardner and Randy G. Webb and his wife Sheila of Gardner; a daughter, Karen A. Taylor and her husband Robert of Gardner; three grandchildren, Nicholas Taylor, Anthony Webb and his wife Amy, and Matthew Webb and his wife Bryanna; one great-grandson Coleson Webb, and another great grandchild on the way; she is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides her parents, Joyce was predeceased by her beloved husband of 66 years Gerald F. Webb who passed away in 2023; and one brother, Charles Melanson.
Calling hours will be held Monday, September 15, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA, with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA will follow.
